Oana Stroe is a Design Lead based in Barcelona, with more than 10 years of experience across product design, UX, strategy and leadership. She leads the design function at Hubtype, where she sets the design strategy, shapes product direction, and manages and mentors a team of designers. Her work sits where design, product and technology meet, with a particular focus on how designers and engineers can work together to build the right products.

Before Hubtype, she helped pioneer natural-language and AI-powered search at Dow Jones. Earlier, she spent five years as a founder, taking her fashion brand to New York, London and Copenhagen. She co-organises Ladies That UX Barcelona, mentors designers, and runs workshops.
