Ola Lawal is a Senior Manager, Cyber Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance at Ledcor Industries Inc., a diversified organization operating across building, civil infrastructure, telecommunications, mining, pipeline, power, and energy sectors, with a workforce of over 7,000 employees across more than 20 locations in North America.

He brings over 25 years of experience in cybersecurity and risk management, with a recent focus on AI security governance. Ola holds a Master of Science in Information Security from Royal Holloway, University of London, a Master of Business Administration from the Haskayne School of Business, University of Calgary, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from the McCombs School of Business, University of Texas at Austin. He is also a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).

Over the course of his career, Ola has led the design and implementation of cyber risk and compliance programs across multiple industries. He previously served as Manager of IT Risk and Compliance at a Canadian Fortune 500 organization, where he directed enterprise-wide IT security risk and compliance initiatives. His experience also includes delivering a large-scale industrial control systems (ICS) security program for a leading energy company in the Middle East, as well as consulting engagements across the financial services, energy, and technology sectors.

Ola is the author of the AI Security Integration Framework (AISIF), an open and publicly available model that integrates leading AI security frameworks, including MITRE ATLAS, OWASP LLM Top 10, NIST AI Risk Management Framework, and ISO/IEC 42001:2023, into a unified five-layer architecture for governing, engineering, and operating secure AI systems. The framework, along with its companion assessment tools, is released under a Creative Commons license and made freely available to the practitioner community.
