Dr. Olajide Jonathan Adamolekun is a Sedimentologist and Petroleum Geologist specializing in reservoir quality prediction, reservoir characterization, modeling, and petroleum systems analysis. He obtained his Doctorate (Ph.D./Dr. rer. nat.) in Sedimentology and Reservoir Geology from the Institute of Applied Geosciences, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Germany. He also holds a Master’s degree in Sedimentology and Petroleum Geology from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, and a Bachelor’s degree in Geology from Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo, Nigeria.

A recipient of the prestigious Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) and German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) scholarships, Dr. Adamolekun has demonstrated a sustained commitment to excellence in geoscientific research and education. He currently serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Geological Sciences at Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo, where he teaches and conducts research in sedimentology, sedimentary petrology, diagenesis, reservoir geology, petroleum geology, and geologic modeling.
