Dr. Olajide Jonathan Adamolekun is a Sedimentologist and Petroleum Geologist with expertise in reservoir quality prediction, reservoir characterization, modeling, and petroleum systems. He earned his doctorate (Ph.D./Dr. rer. nat.) in Sedimentology and Reservoir Geology from the Institute of Applied Geosciences, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Germany. He also holds a Master’s degree in Sedimentology and Petroleum Geology from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, and a Bachelor’s degree in Geology from Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo, Nigeria.

Dr. Adamolekun is a recipient of prestigious scholarships from the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). He is currently a lecturer in the Department of Geological Sciences at Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo, where he teaches and conducts research in sedimentology, sedimentary petrology, diagenesis, reservoir geology, petroleum geology, and geologic modeling, amongst others.
