Olawale Balogun is an Electrical and Electronics Engineer and Head of Technical Team(Impact lab) at INNOV8 Hub, Abuja, where he oversees nine technical labs and a team of 45+ engineers across embedded systems, edge AI, IoT, and R&D.

His recent work includes EdgeSentry, an offline agentic AI security system built on Raspberry Pi 5 and a Hailo-8L NPU, combining face detection, activity analysis, and a local LLM, He has also built AgriNode Poultry Edge, an on-device inference platform on ESP32-S3, and the Intelligent Rover, a vision-based navigation system running YOLOv8n on Raspberry Pi.

Olawale holds a B.Eng in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun, and has 8+ years of professional experience spanning power systems, industrial IoT, and embedded AI development.
