About Me:
Oluwafunmilola Joseph is a skilled product manager and scrum master. She has lots of experience in managing products and using Agile practices. She’s great at leading teams, creating new tech products, and promoting collaboration. Here’s a bit about my journey so far and how it’s shaped who I am today.

My Tech Journey:
I’ve been fascinated by technology from a young age. I was always amused with how the computer works. However my curiosity didn't inform me well to pursue it at that age, so like every other impressionable teenager, I studied the English language instead at the university.

My first tech job was as a Quality Assurance Engineer at Kwik Africa. This role taught me a lot about working on tech projects, communicating with different people, and understanding what it takes to bring a product to life. I quickly realized that I enjoyed creating solutions and working with teams to solve problems.

As I gained more experience, I moved into roles that allowed me to explore Agile methodologies and Scrum practices. At Spektra-owners of dashapp, where I worked as a Product Manager and a Senior Scrum Master, I learned how to manage projects effectively and lead dynamic teams. This role helped me understand the importance of teamwork, clear communication, and listening to everyone’s ideas to make the best products.

My Current Role:
Now, as a Lead Product Manager and Scrum Master, I lead teams, develop product strategies, and ensure that we meet our goals. I’m passionate about making sure everyone on the team feels included and that we’re all working together to create something great. One of my proudest moments was leading the development of Passpoint 2.0 at mypasspoint, where I got to use my skills to tackle complex challenges and deliver successful results.

Balancing Work and Family Life:
In addition to my career, I’m a single mom, which means I’m always juggling work and family responsibilities. It’s a tough balance, but it’s also incredibly rewarding. It has taught me how to manage my time effectively and stay focused on providing a good life for my child.

Outside of work, I love dancing. It’s a wonderful way for me to relax and express myself creatively. Dancing connects me with others and helps me unwind from the demands of my job.

Looking Forward:
As I look to the future, I’m excited about continuing to grow in my career and take on new challenges. I’m always looking for ways to improve and make a positive impact in the tech world.

In a nutshell, my journey has been all about learning, growing, and striving to make a difference. I’m thrilled about what comes next and am ready to embrace new opportunities along the way.
