Oluwakayode Adejare is honored for the opportunity to speak at GDG DevFest Abuja 2023 and connect with fellow tech enthusiasts. Through his campus experiences, he discovered a passion for building communities where people can learn and grow together.
During college, Oluwakayode volunteered with organizations like Open Source Community Africa, MLSA Ado-Ekiti and GDSC Eksu. He found it deeply rewarding to support student developers as they explored new technologies.
Contributing to DevFest Ado-Ekiti for 3 consecutive years was a highlight for Oluwakayode. He is grateful to have served in the Facebook Developer Circles program and make global connections.
Currently, Oluwakayode puts his design skills to use as Lead Graphic Designer at Akin Fadeyi Foundation. He strives to create work that drives social impact.
At GDG DevFest, Oluwakayode hopes to share a few insights on community building he picked up along the way. He aims to participate in the spirit of learning and connecting with peers.
Oluwakayode looks forward to soaking up the energy of this community united by a passion for Google's technologies. He is thankful for this chance to engage with and learn from fellow developers.
