Introduction ARM Template
Azure Resource Manager is the deployment and management service for Azure. It provides a consistent management layer that enables you to create, update, and delete resources in your Azure subscription.
In this session, attendee will have a walk through in all aspects behind the Azure Resource Management Templates; this will provide a 360° point of view on all of the aspects behind the service. As an input, the benefits and the main components for the ARM templates will be briefly explained. Building a new template, defining parameters and variables, Adding resources, customizing exiting templates according to business need and finally publishing the templates will be demonstrated.
As for demo purposes, a real scenario will be explained on how to build a customized web application ARM template, this will includes defining application settings, connection strings, having the template includes the application database service such as Azure SQL, hosting a custom image for the application within the template, and finally publishing the template to be consumable through the portal and to be managed by REST APIs.
Azure SQL Elastic Capabilities - Multi Tenant Apps
If you are an ISV and you already have a plan to provide your products, services to your customers over SaaS model, then you have to plan and structure for it very carefully from the business and technical perspectives, as one of the most common challenge that should be managed properly is the way you will be structuring the multi tenancy across customers especially on the the data tier.
Through this sessions an ISV will be shown the common approaches for multi tenancy (Isolated, Shared) and the difference between them in different technical aspects, and then an ISV will have a complete vision on the Azure SQL Elastic pool capabilities and how this could manage and serve their needs as well working with most commonly known challenges such as managing resources, querying and distributing data across the tenants .
As a result, ISVs will be able to plan for their app and they will be capable to manage all the challenges related to dealing with Multi tenancy among providing their solutions as SaaS.

Azure Machine Learning – 360°
There is no doubt that Big Data is one of the most trending topics in the past few decades, you might for sure have heard a lot on this subject and the evolution of the related technologies, including but not limited to IoT, social media and some others in which took major role in big data scenarios.
One of the important aspect behind the journey of data insights is building a prediction model that could be consumed later for prediction purposes according to specific business need.
Azure Machine learning is a cloud based PaaS service that will facilitate all the processes behind the prediction aspect in terms of building, publishing, consuming machine learning algorithms. It has an embedded and readymade components for the most commonly known algorithm, beside a powerful option for injection a notebooks that could use the common languages behind machine learning such as R and Python, at the end this service provides an easy way to integrate with existing echo system.
In this session attendee will have a walkthrough in all aspects behind the Azure Machine learning, this will provide a 360° point of view on all of the aspects behind the service. As an input the data insight process, where machine leaning stands within this echo system and the common known algorithm will be briefly explained. Azure machine learning provisioning, building algorithm, publishing it, and how to consume it in both data scenarios (in rest in motion) by showing the integrity between it and other services such as Azure Streaming Analysis and Azure Data Factory will be demonstrated.
Attendees and after the session will be able to build their own machine learning algorithms using Azure services and they will have a practice on how this could be integrated within their own solution(s).
