AI Demystified: AI you can see how it thinks

AI is by far the most invasive technology of the past years. However, despite its growing exposure, there are huge misconceptions about it, how it works, and what you can realistically expect.

This short, interactive talk will demystify AI “brains” and debunk some of the common AI myths. It will explain AI putting it in context, and do a live demonstration of how it works using --live-- a learning machine that everyone can inspect and understand.

Inspired by the “MENACE” AI matchbox machine - but built entirely as an open-source software, this app will expose the core mechanisms behind machine learning: no black boxes, no magic, just clear, transparent updates of weights and probabilities.

The talk should come with a booth in which you can play a game against AI and poke it's brain in the same time.

Do your tests communicate?

TTR - time to recovery - is the time between finding an outage - and overcoming it. In this talk, I make the case that treating a failed test like an outage leads to a culture that makes teams more productive and will share lessons and practices that shorten your TTR.
Examples in NodeJS.
