Dr. Drake has a PhD in Measurement and Quantitative Methods from Michigan State University. As a Senior Research
Scientist at ETR, she combines her love of evaluation with her desire to improve the health and wellbeing of individuals
and communities. She has over 20 years of experience at ETR and oversees ETR's evaluation work in addition to
directing numerous health-focused evaluations of differing sizes, scopes, and rigor, including 8 RCTs, many in the area
of teen sexual and reproductive health. Dr. Drake is well-versed in qualitative and quantitative methodologies. She has
successfully directed the evaluation of 2 FYSB-funded PREIS projects as the external evaluator for Children's Hospital
Los Angeles (CHLA) – AIM 4 Teen Moms and Project Legacy – and is in the first year directing the evaluation of a new
PREIS project with CHLA: My Future Self. Dr. Drake also is playing a major role in two Office of Population Affairs
projects, one is a partnership with several researchers conducting a secondary analysis combining 11 TPP studies. The
other (the Youth Engagement Network) is a Tier 2 Innovation grant exploring youth engagement in SRH programming.
