Abhi is a Tech Lead at Meta, currently developing cutting-edge AI/ML infrastructure.

Before Meta, he was the lead engineer in Netflix's platform team, where he played a crucial role in facilitating Netflix developers by offering them various micro services communication solutions such as GRPC, Domain graph service (GraphQL), and Web client (REST). Additionally, Abhi took the lead in fostering the Netflix open-source community related to Hystrix, and their solutions have gained widespread adoption among engineers globally. Prior to this, Abhi served as a lead engineer in the User Systems and Data team at Netflix. In this role, he was responsible for constructing distributed systems and APIs on a large scale to effectively manage and provide access to user information, account/profile details, and user settings. He championed many critical migration projects that helped Netflix scale to more than 200 Million users and adopted some cutting-edge technologies.

Abhi's professional experience extends beyond Netflix, as he has previously contributed as an early engineer in prominent startups like Uber and Appdynamics. During his tenure, he focused on developing foundational systems and designing the platform and infrastructure layers to enhance developers' capabilities and improve their workflow.
