My name is Paul, and I'm from Glasgow, Scotland. I'm an open-source contributor, public speaker, trainer, and consultant by trade. I'm a member of the CD Foundation, PHP, PHP-FIG, and Jenkins projects/teams. In my career, I've held positions such as Director of Engineering, CTO, Principal Engineer/Architect, and so on. I've spent many years modernizing CI/CD pipelines and embedding continuous delivery processes and solutions into businesses. I enjoy sharing my experience in the space with the wider community by way of private training or conference speaking.

In this session Paul is going to share with you his tips & tricks learned when building top quality CI pipelines for large organizations such as the UK Government, banks and the private sector.
Using Continuous Integration already? Whether you're a beginner or CI ninja, you'll gain value from this session as we cover a broad range of topics. We'll look at how we can leverage tools like Docker, Jenkins, AWS to truly push CI pipelines to the limit.

Jenkins CI/CD with Jenkins X
In this workshop, you will learn how to set up your own basic to advanced continuous integration and deployment pipelines in Jenkins.
Jenkins X is a project build by the Jenkins organisation, designed to work in conjunction with Jenkins, but automates a lot of things for us using JenkinsX, Docker and Kubernetes.
Firstly, you'll learn everything you need to know about the underlying technologies; Docker, Jenkins and Kubernetes.
Then, we'll build upon this knowledge while setting up our own Jenkins X cluster in the cloud (onto a Kubernetes cluster). and build pipelines along the way
