Paul Wiedmaier is an experienced Project Engineer with four years of experience in managing civil and renewable energy construction projects worth more than $90 million. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, and holds an OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification. His expertise includes coordinating multidisciplinary teams, maintaining project timelines, and ensuring all work meets safety, quality, and compliance standards.

For the past three years, he has been with Weiss Construction/Weiss Renewables in St. Louis, Missouri. In his role as Assistant Project Manager, he organizes and tracks RFIs, submittals, and design clarifications, participates in field visits to verify progress, and addresses site-specific challenges. He also coordinates engineering, procurement, and construction activities, calculates quantities for bulk materials to support procurement planning, and manages subcontractor invoices, change orders, and purchase orders in line with contract requirements.

As a Project Engineer at the same company, Paul worked with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors on a $90 million project, ensuring clear communication and resolving issues efficiently. He helped develop Construction Work Plans focusing on safety, sequencing, and resource management, created an Excel-based asset management and maintenance tracker, verified equipment specifications, and oversaw plant security access for employees and subcontractors.

Previously, Paul worked as a Project Engineer at JS Vig Construction in Plymouth, Michigan, where he supported scheduling, procurement, and subcontractor coordination. His responsibilities included preparing and reviewing subcontracts, RFIs, and RFCOs, performing quantity takeoffs, and assisting with competitive bids for projects valued between $500,000 and $20 million.

Earlier in his career, during a Field Engineer Internship with Motor City Electric in Dearborn, he assisted operations at the Ford Truck Plant by designing cable tray systems, creating wire tags, reviewing technical diagrams, and collaborating with engineering teams to troubleshoot equipment.

In his senior year at Wayne State, he was part of the winning team in the Electrical Contracting Innovation Challenge, the first such win for the university. Outside of work, Paul Wiedmaier volunteers at Holy Family Parish in Novi, Michigan, maintains an active lifestyle, enjoys golf, traveling, and reading, and is fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, holding dual citizenship in the United States and Brazil.
