I was born in Vietnam, educated and have worked in Singapore, the US and Japan.
I design and code if needed. My professional career is mostly in Japan as a designer. I produced and designed some popular social game titles in Japan, also helped develop and design Amazon, Diesel, Marc Jacobs, Diesel and Ray-Ban e-commerce interface and system for Japanese market (still currently in-use).
I'm currently with Mercari, Inc., the first start-up unicorn in Japan.
I always love the idea of engineering my design since i was a child. My vision is to subvert the status quo to make inclusive product and design for everyone.

Accessibility for Design System
In our current economic landscape, more people are having access to smartphones and the internet. People with temporary & permanent disabilities are often neglected when we design and develop product, often in Asia & also Vietnam. When we stop using our abilities as a baseline, we can provide an inclusive product/service that reflects the real world and the diverse human.
Accessibility guideline for a product's design system is enforced by many systems such as Material Design, IBM, Salesforce, Atlassian. This talk hopes to introduce the principles, why it is important for a mature system, from my own experiences and more than a year of focusing on R&D for this topic.
Applying human-centered design thinking into application development can help developers make active choices, not only to do good, but also to impact the business and make good product.
