Peninah Susan Igaga is a lawyer and digital rights practitioner working at the intersection of law, technology, gender equality, and social justice, with a focus on building inclusive and resilient digital futures across the Global South.

Her work advances gender-responsive technology and promotes digital rights including privacy, freedom of expression, and safe online participation, particularly for women, girls, and underrepresented communities. She works closely with civil society and partners to strengthen people-centred justice systems and inclusive digital ecosystems.

She has contributed to regional digital rights efforts, including serving as a key expert at the Forum on Internet Freedom in Africa 2024, where she co-developed a Digital Rights Manual for Beginners.
