What went wrong with Agile and what you can do about it

You probably work in some form of ‘agile’. It could be ‘kanban’, ‘scrum’, ‘SAFe’, or maybe even ‘Janueszeks-ogile’. One thing is for sure: it’s not waterfall, because waterfall is evil 🙂 On the other hand, almost everyone complains about scrum masters, the process, and the lack of progress in retrospectives. But let’s not dwell on that.

This presentation is a collection of observations and lessons I’ve learned. How to look at the process from a slightly different perspective, what to pay special attention to, and where to apply gentle pressure. Especially considering what could go wrong. We’ll discuss it further in the next retrospective 😉

Note: I’m technical and I’m looking at this from an architect’s point of view. It might be ironic, and it might not be pleasant 😉

How to become an architect in the cloud? So: Architecture + Cloud + FinOps = <3

I invite you to an interactive session where we will build together (it's not a mistake, your decisions will be key) a cloud solution design from A to Z.
In the room we will become architects, so our decisions for the project will be crucial. We will focus on, among other things:
- What components to use (including: hosting, databases, networking, security, ...)
- Is it more PaaS or IaaS? Or maybe a mix?
- How much will it cost? And most importantly why.
What will we work on? Azure, but if you are from AWS team or GCP team then your decisions will be even more important, because you don't have an opinion.

dotnet <3 linux & K8s

The classic war-story. We did it. We migrate our system to Linux and K8s. In the session, I will answer to following questions:
- why you should consider migration?
- are serious about dotnet on Linux? Is it compatible?
- why Azure Kubernetes Services?

Microservices in Azure

Base on real-life examples, step by step introduction how to creating microservices in the Azure cloud.
I will go through with live demos:
- hosting
- databases
- queues
- logs
