Let's talk about the Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), starting off by some background on the container's evolution through time up to the new management features provided by Azure like Azure ARC for Kubernetes. Key differences of Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Container Instances, Web App for Containers and Containers on Azure Service Fabric.
Demystifying Observability: Best Practices for Efficient Monitoring
Observability is the ability to understand what's happening within a complex system by gathering data from various sources, including logs, metrics, traces, and more. However, the term can be confusing and difficult to implement effectively.
In this session, we will demystify observability by discussing its core principles and best practices for efficient monitoring. Specifically, we will focus on how Azure Monitor can help you achieve complete observability across your applications and infrastructure.
Demo: Create IaC for your resources
In this short demo, we'll see how we can quickly create infrastructure as code (IaC) for existing resources.
Let's Talk About: Bicep 101
Walkthrough of Azure Bicep. Background about Azure and ARM. What do I need to use Bicep? The setup of tooling and some primers on how to start using IaC with Bicep. Different usages with Azure CLI, PowerShell and the also with your Pipelines.
Let's talk about: Azure Sentinel
On this session we will talk about Azure Sentinel, the main features of a SIEM/SOAR system, how can we deploy it to our environment and connect it to multiple sources of data - Office365 security solutions, Azure security solutions or OnPrem - to collect data, events and alerts.
From the collection of data and security events to the automation of responses and remediation.
Let's Talk About: Azure Monitor
In the process of transition to the Cloud, it is essential to ensure the ability to constantly and centrally monitor the various environments and workloads, whether in Private Cloud, Public Cloud or Hybrid.
In this session, we will discuss how to ensure constant monitoring of infrastructure performance and availability using Azure Monitor, as well as ways to streamline this process in hybrid environments.
We will also go through topics such as the monitoring process cycle, data collection, types of data collected, such as their visualization and analysis.
Global Azure Bootcamp 2019 (first public delivery)
Let's Talk About: Azure Arc
Azure Arc offers simplified management, faster app development, and consistent Azure services.
On this session, we will talk about the main features of Azure Arc to centrally manage: server, kubernetes and Azure services.
Onboard services and centrally manage policies, compliance and patch management.
Let's Talk About: Advanced Bicep's
In this session we will go beyond the primers of Bicep usage and focus on more advanced scenarios and complex builds. Also on reusable code that can give consistency to your IaC pipelines.

Hardening the Edge: Lessons from Azure Front Door Outages and Mission-Critical Design for 2026
Azure Front Door (AFD) is the global entry point for both Microsoft services and thousands of enterprise customers, operating through over 210 points of presence (PoPs). However, the service incidents of October 2025 provided critical lessons in the risks of global configuration propagation and shared "blast radius" in high-density multi-tenant systems.
This session dives into the technical "hardening" of the platform, including the implementation of the "Food Taster" isolated process and the "shift-left" validation strategy to ensure data plane resiliency. We will also move beyond the platform itself to discuss how architects can build mission-critical solutions that survive even catastrophic edge failures by utilizing multi-CDN strategies and redundant ingress paths via Azure Traffic Manager and Application Gateway. The session concludes with a live demo showcasing a seamless failover between global entry points.
