Hi Everyone! I’m Pooja Kamath, a Senior Product Manager on Microsoft’s Azure SQL Data team, based in Bangalore, India. I have been associated with Microsoft & our customers for the past 10 years in a variety of roles including SQL Developer support , Field engineering working with our largest Data & AI Enterprise customers and Beta engineering for the latest and newest releases in the Azure Cloud Database space. I love engaging with the very energetic and passionate SQL customer community in India and have delivered multiple sessions at various user group events. As an advocate of diversity, equity, and inclusion, I have been a Women @ Microsoft ERG lead in India and drive various community building and DE&I initiatives at work.
Before joining Microsoft as a freshly recruited Campus hire I graduated with an Engineering degree in Information Science. I also hold a work integrated MBA degree in Management of Information Systems & a PGDM in Big Data Engg. from BITS Pilani.
