For the past few years, Pooja's been a software engineer working on projects in both the public and private sectors. She is an ICPAgile Certified Professional and has earned the SnowPro Core Certification. As a Software Developer Analyst with Accenture Federal Services, she developed Spring REST Microservices deployed on AWS and developed an event-driven data processing pipeline in Java using the Akka Framework and Kafka Streams with PostgreSQL deployed in OpenShift. Since joining Ippon Technologies USA as a Software Engineer, she has developed APIs using Java, Spring, and MongoDB and an auditing API using the framework JaVers for a client in the healthcare industry. Pooja is currently working on a project that uses a Spark job executed on EMR to transfer data from a Cassandra database as a parquet file to S3. This EMR job is automated via an SNS trigger to a Python Lambda function, which spins up the EMR cluster and executes the logic.
