Pranav Motarwar is a Data Engineer at TikTok’s Privacy and Data Protection Office (PDPO), where he is building data systems that integrate AI and agent-based automation to enhance privacy intelligence and compliance. He earned his M.S. in Computer Science from New York University, where his work centered on machine learning, large-language models, and big data systems.

Before joining TikTok, Pranav worked as a Product Engineer at American Express and contributed to academic research published with Springer, IEEE, Elsevier, and Wiley. Recently, he was invited as a speaker at DeveloperWeek 2026, where he shared practical engineering methods on deploying AI systems in enterprise data environments. He has also served as a peer reviewer for Springer and ACM and holds a patent in applied AI. His interests lie at the intersection of privacy engineering, scalable AI systems, and data governance.
