Prasanna Gautam is a Member of Technical Staff at Anchorage. Prasanna works in the Protocols team. He’s often exploring the edges of the crypto ecosystem from DeFi, staking, governance to provable smart contracts. He formerly served as a member of the Diem Technical Steering Committee.

Prasanna spent 10 years working to ship a variety of innovative projects, from high quality SportsCenter videos to the ISS to a realtime e-commerce recommendation service for Staples. Prior to Anchorage he built cloud-based wireless access points with indoor location tracking at Mist Systems.

He holds a BS in Computer Science and Mathematics from Trinity College in Hartford, CT, where he was heavily involved with the Humanitarian FOSS —a project that deployed critical search and rescue projects across the world in coordination with various industry partners. He has published numerous papers on robotics, wireless ad hoc networks, and more. He also writes a newsletter on hardware security.
