One can go all-in to a video home production studio. Yet most of us would rather start small and focus on great content while producing videos of just good-enough quality with minimum viable time and money investment. This talk brings in some of the best practices and things to keep in mind while making videos for programmers.

Can local meetups switch to online format?

I had time and energy to run tech meetups in two cities across 3 topics. Then corona happened. So I restarted it all online and it sort of makes sense.

This can be a lightning talk with a focus on why but not how, on the format and vibe that make sense online, but not OBS or youtube settings.

If you think this topic deserves more attention, I can extend it to a full session with a focus either on community retention tools (Eventbrite, FB, Meetup, YouTube, twitter, slack) and methods (where's your community, what's the landing page, local vs global approach).

Alternatively, I can extend it to a full session to show all the numbers, tools, equipment and whatever else may be good to think about to start an online meetup.
