Rachael N. Reed, DrPH, MPH, is an Assistant Professor of Community Health Sciences and Policy at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center School of Public Health and Co-Lead of the Training Core for the NIH-funded Southern Center for Maternal Health. Her research centers on advancing health equity through community-engaged implementation science, with applications in maternal and perinatal health, nutrition, and chronic disease prevention. Dr. Reed leads and collaborates on multiple federally funded initiatives aimed at strengthening research capacity, workforce diversity, and equitable health outcomes across the Gulf South. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Association for Prevention Teaching and Research (APTR) and is an active contributor to national efforts that advance public health education, leadership development, and community partnership.
