Develop an AI agent with Azure AI Agent Service
Delivered a technical session at Microsoft Reactor demonstrating how to build and interact with AI agents using Azure AI Foundry and Python in Cloud Shell. I guided attendees through creating an AI hub and project, deploying the GPT-4o model, and connecting it to an Azure OpenAI resource. I showcased how to clone a GitHub repo in Cloud Shell, explore the Python client app code, and run it without any local tools. The walkthrough included loading environment variables, uploading a data file, setting up a Code Interpreter tool, and creating an agent that responds to prompts and generates outputs such as charts. This session helped attendees understand the full lifecycle of building, deploying, and testing AI agents in Azure with a low-friction, browser-based workflow.
The AI Agents Are Coming: Build Your Own With Microsoft Copilot Studio
Invited as a guest speaker to deliver an expert-led session on building AI agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio. The session introduced attendees to the fundamentals of Copilot Studio and AI agents, followed by a comprehensive hands-on demo. Participants learned how to build autonomous agents by leveraging generative orchestration, reasoning models, system prompts, actions, and triggers. The demo also showcased real-world integration scenarios with Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365 Copilot, enabling attendees to visualize how AI can support and automate project workflows.
