Rahat is a computer science student at Polaris School of Technology and a Project Manager at the Open Mainframe Project, where he works on community growth, outreach, and content that helps make the mainframe ecosystem more visible and approachable. He began his journey through the Linux Foundation Mentorship Program and later grew into a broader community and content role, supporting podcast and video storytelling across the Mainframe Connect platform.

Through interviews with both experienced mainframers and newer entrants, Rahat has helped surface real career journeys, community perspectives, and practical lessons that make the platform feel more human and easier to enter. He has also helped grow Open Mainframe Project social channels, was selected as a speaker for OSS Summit Korea 2025, and has been recognized as one of the youngest ambassadors of the Open Mainframe Project.
