Ravi Rao is a 3D animation filmmaker, educator, and creative director with over 18 years of experience across animation, mixed reality, and interactive media. He has directed large-scale animated content for television and OTT platforms, led creative teams of more than 100 artists, and worked on immersive experiences for organizations such as Microsoft and the Indian Army.

Currently teaching at ATLAS SkillTech University, Ravi helps students navigate the evolving intersection of design, technology, and storytelling. His recent work explores how AI tools can enable individual creators to produce high-quality animated projects on their own, expanding what a solo creator can achieve.

Ravi’s approach blends creative independence with technical skills, advocating for an education model where students are empowered to build and own their ideas rather than simply prepare for industry roles.
