With several years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, and analytics, particularly focusing on the Microsoft stack, I am an early adopter and enthusiast of Microsoft Fabric. I hold multiple relevant Microsoft certifications in Fabric, Azure, and the Power Platform. I am passionate about complex data architectures and Data Vault 2.0 modeling. I appreciate the all-in-one concept of Fabric, which combines different code-based tools like PySpark and SQL with low-code and no-code solutions. Over the past year, I have successfully completed numerous projects for clients using Fabric, Azure, and Power BI. At taod Consulting, a Microsoft Partner for Data and a Fabric Featured Partner, I lead innovative Fabric projects and serve as the lead for Fabric initiatives. Additionally, I am an active member of the Fabric community, a speaker on topics related to Fabric, data engineering, and architecture, and I design and conduct training and coaching sessions.

Building State-of-the-Art Data Platforms combining Data Vault and Medallion Architecture in Fabric

In times of continuously growing data volumes and changing data sources and usage due to advancing digitalization, we need high-performance data architectures. These ensure high data quality and integrity as a foundation for AI, Data Science, Analytics, BI, and automation. We will look at how we at taod efficiently combine various approaches such as Medallion architecture, Data Vault 2.0 (Linstedt), and dimensional modeling (Kimball). We will explore how we implement this using Microsoft Fabric, leveraging its various components to achieve optimal results.
