Ravi Guru Singh is the founder of Protocol Law, advising decentralized protocols and blockchain-based clients. His previous clients have included Rarible Inc. and Snag Solutions Inc., which was approved by the ApeCoin DAO to build the independent marketplace for the BAYC family of NFTs. He is currently serving as digital payments counsel for a Fortune 500 payment processor. His legal writings have been published in law360 and the New York Law Journal in 2022. He co-created and sold the first Indian digital fashion collectibles, as covered by the Times of India and the Hindu. The live-action narrative short film he wrote, produced and acted in, “The Invite” had its first screening at the first-ever South Asian House hosted by South by Southwest in 2023. He debuted as the lead actor in the full-length feature documentary “Terrible Children” in 2022, which world premiered at the Cleveland International Film Festival. He wrote and produced the SeriesFest award-winning animated short, “Doing the Robot” in 2021. He appeared on Indian Matchmaking on Netflix in 2020, directed by Oscar- and Emmy-nominated Smriti Mundhra, and he wrote about it in a personal piece for the Huffington Post. He was previously an associate at several Manhattan law firms and was a New York City Urban Fellow in the Administration of Mayor Michael Bloomberg. He graduated from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law and Vanderbilt University as a recipient of Posse Foundation full-tuition scholarships. He was born and raised in Brooklyn, where he lives now.
