Ravi Sai Krishna Nunnagoppula is an accomplished DevOps and Platform Engineer with over 7 years of experience in automating, scaling, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure. He brings deep technical expertise in AWS services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, container orchestration with Kubernetes and Docker, and CI/CD pipeline automation using Jenkins and GitLab. Ravi is passionate about integrating DevOps with Machine Learning operations (ML-Ops) to deliver efficient and robust engineering solutions.
Currently serving as a Staff Platform Engineer at Blackhawk Network, Ravi has spearheaded the automation of deployment pipelines using Groovy, Bash, and Jenkins while architecting highly available infrastructure on AWS. His contributions include automating change ticketing via ServiceNow integrations, managing DNS configurations through Route53, and implementing SSL/TLS renewal automation to ensure continuous security compliance. He significantly improved deployment reliability and provisioning speed through Terraform automation and led design/code reviews to uphold quality standards.
Previously at Freddie Mac, Ravi played key DevOps roles where he oversaw production releases, managed EKS clusters, and implemented continuous delivery frameworks. He also worked on monitoring and troubleshooting using Grafana, Jaeger, Kiali, and Kibana, and containerized applications with Docker and OpenShift.
Ravi’s foundation in DevOps was built through roles at AGAP Technologies, where he deployed Kubernetes infrastructure and created Helm charts, and at Wireless Vision LLC, where he functioned as a hybrid Application Developer and Data Analyst. In that capacity, he developed and maintained ETL/ELT pipelines using Talend and Matillion, implemented dashboards in Metabase, and contributed to web application development using Python, PHP, and PostgreSQL.
Earlier in his career, he was a Software Engineer at Tech Mahindra, designing tire lettering standards for Goodyear using CADAM and CATIA, where he was recognized for his innovation and productivity.
Ravi holds a Master of Science in Information Systems from the University of Missouri – St. Louis, where he earned a GPA of 3.7 and received the NSA Scholarship. His academic accolades include recognition at the UMSL Hackathon and IBM’s “Master the Mainframe” challenge.
