Reeshav Kumar is a Senior Product Manager at Meta Platforms with over a decade of experience driving innovation at the intersection of hardware, software, and artificial intelligence. Currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area, he leads product development for Instagram's business analytics and Meta's next-generation Mixed Reality devices, helping shape the future of how people connect and businesses grow in the digital ecosystem.
Before Meta, Reeshav spent over four years at Apple as a Product Manager and Engineering Project Manager, where he led cross-functional teams in developing cutting-edge computational photography and neural engine capabilities for iPhones and Apple Silicon devices. His work on AI/ML model optimisation enabled significant improvements in latency and power consumption across flagship applications, while his leadership in automating design flows resulted in over $10 million in cost savings and accelerated product schedules.
Reeshav's technical foundation was built through earlier engineering roles at Apple, Barefoot Networks, and Oracle, where he designed critical components for mobile chips powering over 517 million iPhones and iPads, developed industry-leading programmable network switches for AI/ML workloads in data centres, and created high-performance processors for cloud infrastructure that generated over $1 billion in revenue.
He holds an MBA from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business with a focus on Product Management, Strategy, and Marketing, and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University, where he also served as a student instructor. He earned his Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Instrumentation with Honours from Birla Institute of Technology & Science in Pilani, India. His academic work has been published in multiple international conferences on IC design, VLSI, and network-on-chip architectures.
Beyond his professional achievements, Reeshav is committed to giving back to his community. He served as Project Steward for Asha Silicon Valley from 2016 to 2019, supporting educational initiatives for over 120 underprivileged children across seven schools in rural India. In his personal time, he pursues his passion for underwater exploration as a PADI Master Scuba Diver and PADI Rescue Diver, and enjoys cycling.
