My name is Juma Sabun Saverio. I am a South Sudanese national currently living in Kakuma Refugee Camp in Kenya. I am the Founder and Executive Director of Refugees Life Heroes Organisation, a refugee-led organization committed to amplifying refugee voices, building hope, and contributing to the creation of a more inclusive and just society.

I hold a Diploma from Alongsider International and am currently a final-year Bachelor of Arts student at Global University for Lifelong Learning (GULL) University, a U.S.-based university. My academic and professional journey has been shaped by lived experience as a refugee and a strong commitment to using leadership, education, and data-driven approaches to support refugees and marginalized communities.

Through my work and studies, I continue to focus on empowering communities, making invisible challenges visible, and advancing solutions that enable refugees to actively participate in shaping the societies in which they live.
