After 17 years in higher education, Rene Gutierrez is a consultant for student success programs and grants. I also build digital tools to help educators better engage with students and manage success programs.

In those 17 years, I have worked on building student success programs for marginalized communities at universities and community colleges. These opportunities have focused on running cultural competency workshops, community building, and predictive analytics. I have coordinated the offices of student life, high school outreach, intercultural centers, scholarship outreach & awarding, commencement, and student government.
