PROTECTION OF DATA WITH BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY IN HEALTH SERVICES

Globalization has had a huge impact on the development of information technology. The development of information technology has enabled the rapid exchange of information and cyberattacks. These cyber attacks have caused damage to systems and data stored in health facilities. The method used in writing this paper is the study of literature related to blockchain technology in data protection. There are health facilities, such as hospitals or public health centers. Literature studies show that blockchain is a technology that is used as an innovative solution in a variety of sectors, including healthcare. Blockchain can be used to protect patient data with ledger technology. This ledger technique is used in cybersecurity for the protection of personal data and transaction data in the form of encrypted data transmission. Blockchain networks offer flexible and reliable solutions for storing sensitive data, such as patient medical records, and integrating with the IoT (Internet of Things) system. Through integration with IoT, doctors can monitor patients' conditions remotely and export data through the cloud or other storage devices. Overall, the use of blockchain is crucial in the face of technological developments and cyberattacks.
