Ricardo is an avid civic hacker and passionate professional who works to have a positive impact on society through technology and LBGT+ rights advocate. He is part of Codeando México, a non-profit that works with the community of activists, developers, designers and more on civic tech, open data, and public policy. He has collaborated with NGOs, governments and private companies in order to implement policy and build strategic capacities in data and tech.

Over the last 4+ years, Ricard has focused on building community, has participated as a speaker in over 25 tech events, is a regular mentor / organizer of hackathons and has been awarded with the MLH Top 50 recognition for being one of the most inspiring Hackers of 2021.
