Richard Essangabasi, known as The Content Chef, is a Creative Director and Co-Founder of Orex Prime, an innovative onchain media company transforming Africa’s entertainment landscape through decentralized storytelling.
As Content Lead at Sandbox Africa and Creator at Base West-Africa, he drives compelling narratives with global impact. A four-time award-winning filmmaker and cinematographer, He serves as the 2024 Uyo Theatre and Film Festival Curator/Director.
He previously spearheaded marketing at ILabs, advancing AI chatbot adoption for SMEs, and led the For the Love of DeFi community at Akwa Ibom State University, where he studies computer science and graduated from KAP Film Academy a Nigerian film brand popular for their master piece (Anikulapo).
