Dr. Fournier, Director of Partnerships for the US Division at EDC Solutions and Senior Project Director at EDC, brings extensive experience in school and district policy and leadership in the development of culture, citizenship, character, and social emotional learning (SEL) for improving equitable student outcomes. As a licensed superintendent, former teacher, and researcher, Richard brings a balance of practice, policy, and research to every project. Richard currently serves as a Project Director of the NCHS Resilient Youth Initiative to support evidence-based program selection, effective program implementation and district system change with a focus on SEL & behavioral health programs. Formerly, Richard served as Co-Director of the Multi-Tiered System of Support SEL and Mental Health Academy led by the Massachusetts, and provided technical assistance for the National Center to Improve Social and Emotional Learning and School Safety housed at WestEd.
