Following late 2024, when he delivered a talk about using the open source CodeGemma model for Google DevFest Scotland, and spoke at the Macc Tech event about Open Source AI, in 2025 Richard has spoken at Global AI Barcelona about aligning DeepSeek R1, in Bournemouth about the current state of Open Source AI and at the Dev Talks conference in Bucharest (one of the largest developer conferences in Eastern Europe) about Open Source AI with the JVM. He is scheduled to speak at the DevBCN conference in July.
