Rick Garcia has been a SharePoint Project Manager at United Airlines for over 3 years. He has led several projects at United which included the successful migration of SharePoint 2010 from their Houston datacenter to their new datacenter in Chicago. He successfully managed the project to deploy SharePoint 2016 to company-wide and is now focused on the migration of SharePoint 2010. He partners with United business customers to help them realize the power of SharePoint in the Enterprise and works with them to develop new solutions to solve their business needs.

He has been a leader and SharePoint evangelist in the local user group community for over 10 years. He has served as the President of the Houston SharePoint User Group (H-SPUG) for 2 separate terms and has been the Chairman of SharePoint Saturday Houston for the past 2 years. Last year he was recently elected as Chairman of the Board of the Houston SharePoint User Group and works with local IT professionals and business sponsors to bring people together and to promote the Office 365, SharePoint and Azure technologies.
