As a child, Rick enjoyed solving puzzles and trying to figure out how things work. This “figure it out” mentality was like a game, and that mindset stayed with him across all his endeavors.

Rick’s career path has always had some teaching aspect to it, whether it be training sales people or managers, explaining to clients how to use products, designing digital learning content, or even a stint teaching science to middle school students. At the core of every role was the need to learn to connect with people from all walks of life. With Jovial, Rick strives to teach others to confidently communicate and connect with others to achieve their goals.

Rick is originally from Baltimore, MD and loves all things Baltimore (Old Bay, Orioles, crabbing). When he’s not teaching, you can find him out on the water fishing or driving his camaro.
