His core expertise spans go-to-market strategy, e-commerce payments, stored-value products, cross-border payment regulations, and GenAI-powered e-commerce products. He has led initiatives that moved billions of dollars in transaction volume while protecting millions of buyers and sellers across eBay's global marketplace.
As manager of product management at eBay, Ritwik leads the eBay Balance product organization, the company's first native stored-value product enabling sellers to use earnings directly for platform purchases. He has scaled adoption across the US, UK, and Germany, driving over $1B in gross merchandise volume and $15M+ in cost savings while coordinating cross-functional global expansion across Payments, Risk, Identity, Legal, and Operations for more than 5 million sellers worldwide.
Previously, as Lead Product Manager at eBay, Ritwik migrated $1.5B in annual shipping label transactions from PayPal to eBay's native payments ecosystem and launched eBay Managed Shipping in the UK. At DoorDash, he led the Merchant Finance product team, architecting a multi-year roadmap spanning pricing, tax, and financial reporting. Ritwik holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business and a BE in telecommunication engineering from VTU, Karnataka. He was awarded eBay's Impact Award in 2020 for his work on payment disputes and fee netting and is a member of IEEE.
