Java in AI: Implementation of Google Vertex AI using Spring AI and Hilla

As Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI) continues to impact the industry, we as developers and tech enthusiasts are curious about the capabilities of this technology. We have questions in our minds about how we can have a practical application of this concept.

In this session, I'll demonstrate how to build a Generative AI application using a Java tech stack. We will use Spring AI, a subset of Spring Framework as a gateway to make a Gen AI application connecting to Google Vertex AI and Google Vertex AI Gemini with Hilla Framework, a Java Front-end Framework to visualize the capabilities of Vertex AI.

Next-Gen Java: AI, Cloud, & Performance, sponsored by IBM TechXchange

Session: Benchmarking: Open Liberty, Spring Boot, Micronaut, and Quarkus, which is better?

See the performance differences firsthand! We'll present benchmark results for Open Liberty, Quarkus, Micronaut, and Spring Boot, focusing on visual outputs like graphs and charts. You'll gain a clear understanding of each framework's performance characteristics through detailed metrics, including request/response times, memory usage, and CPU utilization. Learn how to interpret these outputs and apply them to your real-world Java applications.
