Navigating the AI Frontier: Secure Adoption of LLMs in FinTec

AI has become increasingly popular the last few years, and the existing frameworks that financial services organisations have for managing AI models, model development and deployment aren’t compatible with the rapidly emerging generative AI models. If security is not considered up front, and learnings/discovery is closed to individual enterprises, it will take much longer to get up to speed.

The FINOS Simple AI Governance framework provides threat enumeration for LLM-based applications in financial services. By collaborating to identify common use cases and common pitfalls, the framework enhances security for everyone whose data is handled by these systems. The Working Group is in its early stages, and have some draft frameworks which are still being developed, but there are already some key lessons that have been identified.

This talk discusses the current state, and what common lessons there are to learn about it.

GitOps - What, Why and How?

GitOps is all the rage, but what is it, why is it necessary and how should you do it?

From Prompt to Production: Automating GitOps with AI-Powered Agents

Get ready to redefine your GitOps experience as we explore the exciting frontier where AI agents meet continuous delivery. This talk introduces the Flux MCP Server, a new component designed to supercharge your Kubernetes and GitOps management by enabling natural language interaction.

We'll move beyond theory with compelling, real-world demonstrations showing the Flux MCP Server in action. Witness how to quickly assess pipeline health, perform sophisticated root cause analysis of failed deployments, and even modify Helm releases—all through intuitive prompts. Learn how the Model Context Protocol (MCP) empowers AI assistants to gather context and execute complex operations securely and efficiently. This session will provide practical insights and actionable strategies for leveraging AI to create more intelligent, and user-friendly GitOps workflows, ensuring you see the power of agentic AI firsthand.
