Deneb Lollipops: Sweet, Simple and Actionable Visualizations for Power BI
Deneb is a custom visual for Power BI that allows you to create highly customizable and interactive visualizations. It is based on the Vega-Lite language, which is a declarative language for describing graphics. This means that you can define the appearance and behavior of your visualizations beyond any native Power BI visualizations - without expensive tools.
In this presentation, we will discuss how to use Deneb to create two intuitive and actionable visualizations:
• A lollipop chart that shows the distribution of sales by product category.
• A scatter chart using custom images per category to for real visual impact!
By the end of this presentation, you will have the tools to learn and use Deneb to create powerful and interactive visualizations that will help you to communicate your data effectively and provide seriously actionable reports to users.
