I am a natural problem-solver and connector — a leader with a designer’s mindset: creative at the core, driven to help people, and strengthened by over 20 years of experience in digital design and strategy. As a Senior UX & CX Advisor for the Dutch government, I believe that digital services only succeed when users are truly at the center and when teams share responsibility for the outcome. My strength lies in bringing people and perspectives together—users, stakeholders, and teams—to translate deep insights into clear strategy and direction within complex organizations.

My passion for human-centered design and empathy is deeply rooted in my personal journey. For two decades, I have lived with diabetes. What felt like a heavy daily burden for years, I have successfully transformed into my ultimate strength: a profound resilience and a lived understanding of what users and patients truly need. Today, I use this strength to help others, including through my role on the Social Advisory Council of the Diabetes Fonds.

What drives me is inspiring others and creating a shared course. Leadership is about giving space for people to grow, for teams to collaborate, and for ideas to become reality. I am deeply inspired by the words of Nelson Mandela: “The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.” I carry that exact resilience into my work and my life — to persevere, learn, and build meaningful digital services together.
