Dr. Roger Gothmann is Managing Director and Co-Founder of Taxdoo, a Hamburg-based TaxTech company and market leader in accounting for e-commerce. Before founding Taxdoo, he spent over ten years as a tax auditor and public official at the German Federal Central Tax Office and earned his PhD in banking and behavioural finance at the University of Hamburg.

He is a recognized voice on taxes, technology, and e-commerce in Germany, co-founder and CFO of the non-profit Tecitclub, and an early-stage investor in tech startups at the intersection of regulation and technology.
