Karma Credits: A Currency of Actions in 2050
In 2050 money is earned through actions, not things. Karma Credits is a speculative currency that rewards good deeds such as donating blood, contributing to public safety, voting and maintaining cities. Credits are validated by institutions and communities, and redeemed in a digital wallet to access everyday benefits like a trip on the metro, a visit to a healthcare provider, or civic perks. Bad actions from avoiding civic responsibility to speeding - lowers your balance. This project redefines value as appreciation for kindness, courage, and care.
