Rolando M. Doromal, Jr. is an Automotive Threat Researcher at VicOne, where he specializes in offensive security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability research across the automotive ecosystem. His work focuses on identifying security weaknesses in connected vehicle technologies, including web applications, APIs, mobile applications, network infrastructure, IoT devices, and hardware systems such as Electronic Control Units (ECUs).

Beyond client engagements, Rolando actively participates in cybersecurity competitions and hands-on research initiatives. He was part of the team that secured 3rd place in the 2025 SPIRITCYBER Automotive CTF in Singapore, demonstrating practical expertise in automotive security challenges and vehicle hacking scenarios.

Rolando has shared his research and experiences with the cybersecurity community through speaking engagements, including Trend Micro's DECODE 2025 conference, and as a crew member of Car Hacking Village, where he helped promote automotive security awareness and hands-on learning.
