Ross started his life as an English major who was the "kid in the office who knew about computers". He tells most folks that he was drafted into software engineering. After a rocky road through the software engineering industry he ended up finding his niche leading a team of developers at TechSmith building stronger cross-platform and cross-product solutions for Camtasia, Snagit and other TechSmith desktop client products.
