Windows 365, when is it right and when is not?

In this session I will show and tell how Windows 365 can become your favorite desktop among a wide set of personas, and still be as secure as your modern zero trust devices. And in the spirit of hybrid cloud, how easy it is to make Windows 365 a Privileged Access Workstation into your Azure and On-premises environments. This can without a doubt be a big timesaver and make you a very attractive company, for existing and potential new colleagues and consultants. Making IT sexy again in these modern days, require us to adopt new tech.

Visualize your Microsoft Azure and 365 security insights with Power BI!

In this session, we will look at how you can take advantage of Power BI to better understand your Microsoft Cloud security landscape, and dig into how Power BI can connect to a variety of sources and pull all that data into one report. How you can leverage that data into visualizations and design a report tailored to our security needs? How can we utilize storytelling in Power BI to facilitate improvements and prompt action? And how can we share that report with our team to improve efficiency and enable an improved overall security landscape? We will even provide the tools necessary to get started using coded setup.

Visualize your security insights with Power BI!

Arere you struggling with getting that complete overview of your Security landscape in M365? Do you use some existing built-in dashboards, but from different portals while you know that there are more security data behind the scenes you are not leveraging?  Wouldn't it be nice to set up a space where you can get that complete oversight on how you are performing on your security score, and your action lists, look at history and follow up on progress?

In this session, we will look at how you can take advantage of Power BI to better understand your security landscape, and dig into how Power BI can connect to a variety of sources and pull all that data into one report. How can we leverage that data into visualizations and design a report tailored to our security needs? How can we utilize storytelling in Power BI to facilitate improvements and prompt action? And how can we share that report with our team to improve efficiency and enable an improved overall security landscape?

Lifecycle and Access Management let’s automate it in the cloud!

In this session will talk and show how Microsoft Entra Lifecycle Management integrates with HR software to enable onboarding, delegation and offboarding directly into Azure Active Directory. We will cover how to configure a full setup and demo the lifecycle for an employee or consultant, including persona delegation of permissions. Even how it can be extended to other SaaS services, and help you be compliant with GDPR. And tie this into how cross tenant synchronization helps in multi-tenant scenarios, like with new acquisitions, carve-outs or having organizational level interests across tenants.

Should you go Azure Virtual Desktop or Windows 365?

To learn which product suites your organization better, lets dive into AVD and W365 to see which one fits your organization better.

We will look at differences and how simular features work in bought prosucts. Which product will be most usefull, economic and Secure.

Segmentation in a single-tenant or cross-tenant collaboration with Azure AD B2B Collaboration?

Customers struggle between sharing a tenant or collaborating across multiple tenants. In this session I want to describe and show how it works and what doesn't work. When do you use multi-tenant for segmentation and when do you use segmentation within a single tenant? Let's have a look at together and which tools will help you further.

Securing Linux with Intune and Azure Active Directory

A deeper dive into protecting Linux devices using Intune and Azure Active Directory. Developers and others have been favorying Linux for a long a time and now IT Pros can start protecting their devices. This session will dive into how we can secure Linux distros with Intune and Azure AD, commonly used by Developers. But in a way that Developers will thrive on your platform.

How do you deploy IaC when its connecting multiple tenants?

Join me to experience how your infrastructure can connect multiple tenants, also when doing Infrastructure as Code. We will explore how Azure Lighthouse enables multi-tenant deployment from a single pipeline in Azure DevOps. For example when peering vNets cross tenants.

Secure PowerBI access to data in Azure

What and how can we secure PowerBI access to data hosted in Azure services, and an introduction to security report visualizing using PowerBI, because why not use the secure access afterwards.

Bicep deployment of Azure Lighthouse for IaC

Infrastructure as Code is great for many different reasons. Previously we had ARM templates, but these have practically been superseded by Bicep templates. Bicep templates are good for deployments to a single tenant, but if you want to deploy a single pipeline to multiple tenants, you need some help from Azure LightHouse.

In this workshop we will try to deploy Azure LightHouse using Bicep (IaC) and onboard additional tenants/subscriptions to enable cross tenant deployment of infrastructure in Azure. We won’t have the answers already to go but we will learn during the workshop.

Participants will not be able to directly write code or have access to a lab environment, but we open the round table to participate in the dialog/troubleshooting and can simultaneously work if they bring their own lab environment. The code will be available in a public github repo.

The goal is to end up with a single pipeline deploying infrastructure in at least two different Azure tenants using Bicep. At the end we will deploy two virtual networks to be peered cross tenants.

We bring out the jolly #goodtimes and festive theme of the season. Feel free to bring your holiday spirit and join us in the workshop.
