Ruby Leslie is the founder of Welfare For Animals (WFA), a companion animal welfare and animal training social enterprise based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

She is highly certified and experienced in animal welfare and marketing. From 2008 onwards, she has been involved in animal welfare, conservation, and advocacy work. Ruby has over 7 years of marketing experience for Canadian, multinational and international nonprofits in animal welfare, vet med, and conservation nonprofits. Also, she has over 10 years of international copywriting and editorial experience.

When she's not creating marketing strategy or assisting with international animal welfare nonprofits, she loves hanging out with her 2 ginger rescue cats; Spark and Marmalade.
