Dr Ryan Newis is a data scientist at QCIF, an Australian not-for-profit organisation that has provided data science services to Australian universities for the past 25 years. Ryan’s data science experience spans several sectors including environment and agriculture. His research background includes extensive work in the fields of landscape ecology, ecological network analysis, chemical ecology and pollination biology and ecology. Currently, his work is focused on developing software applications to improve analytical tools for researchers and other stakeholders focused on environmental management and conservation.
